Home Theater in Coppell

With the old design axiom: "Form follows function" always present, we decided to steer away from the ceilig beams and corbels that has given us success in the past.

"SOONERS" inspired Game Room

"Bedermeyer" is the german version of the 40's "Art Deco" style. It is a little more simplistic but still carries the key elements disctinctve of this peiod. The owners are big fans of the "Sooners" and comisioned us to design and build a game room inspired by them.

From carpet to ceiling, there are touches rendered in color and subtile forms suggesting the passion they feel for their favorite team without falling in a stage-like setup.

Smith's Game Room

this project is a good example of our resourcefull background. With lots of creativity and a limited budget we managed to create a warm and inviting place for Mr. Smith to entertain his friends.

Cove lighting, "faux" finish on doors and custom cabinet, fabric upholstered wainscoting, new carpet and color on walls, it is all what takes for the transformation.

Theater at Hickory Creek

"The phantom of te opera" is the favorite play of Mr. Merritt. That was the starting point for the design of this exceptional theater. We placed each of the ventian masks he had collected into custom acoustical columns. Fabric panels visually connect this columns with the foredown ceiling giving the feeling of an old italian rustic theater.

Gilbert's Home Theater

Cabin themed home theater with a combination of rustic elements like the stone, cedar beams and the stuffed deer head mounted on leather with some modern finishes with rosewood veneer on the paneling and the entertainment center.

With the kids in mind, we resort to furnish the room with a very comfortable sectional in which they can lie down and even spend the night. A rustic bar compliment the scene.

Mr. Smith's Home Theater

Once again we were confronted with another attic conversion and the challenges that presents. It was critical to utilize to the maximum the free area. Installation of protrusions like columns or cabinets on the side wall was out of question, however they needed to be treated for acoustical pourposes. We resort to veneer legde stone for sound diffusion and floating custom acoustical wall panels for absoption. Spaced out niches with exposed rafters on the sloped walls helped to breake the monotony of a room that was deeper than wide.

Mr. Thompson's Home Theater

Creating a home theater does not necessary demands a great investment.
Wall to wall acoustic treatment does not guarantee perfect home theater conditions, in fact, some experts does not recommend it at all. By strategically placing our custom acoustic panels, new paint on walls and ceiling, treating the windows and acoustically treating only the proscenium we achieve  a very sound quality without breaking the bank.

His old sectional was in great shape, and added a second row of theater chairs placed on a 12" high raiser.

Under the 110" screen we installed a

Weinman's Game Room

We Create very unique pieces for this projec. Custom wall to wall entertainment center with capacity to house al the audio/video systems, front speakers, stoage fore DVD's and illuminated adjustale glass shelves to display memorabilia and decorative accessories.

The movie marquees were custom fabricated to match the window coverings and to support floating acoustical panels. The sconces were made out of old movie reels that we ben and attached to ready available sconces.

Merritt's Wine Cellar

This was a conversion from an ordinary bedroom into a custom refrigerated room. Before proceeding with the remodel we have to ensure proper isolation by tearig down all the sheetrock from walls and ceiling, applying a closed-cell insulation foam and recover them wiht mold resistant gypsum board.

From the veneer stone and custom wine racks on the walls, to herring bone pattern brick on the floor and barreled ceiling there was not a single place overlooked and everything fell into place thanks to our carefull planning and dedicated management.

Cordell's Theater

For this project, we decided to incorporate some elements of soft contemporary southwestern style reflected in the natural woods, fabric patterns and wall finishes with the repetitive patterns of the “McIntosh” style, which has some Japanese influence.

The idea behind the repetition is to create uneven surfaces which will work as acoustical diffusers.
